District Transformational Leadership Inventory (DTLI)

This assessment is designed to help educational leaders examine how they are currently working to facilitate school improvement and impact on student achievement. The DTLI, based on elements known to be essential in the “transformed” district office, is intended for use by educational leaders to enhance their systems leadership effectiveness and reflect on their current working relationships, including the culture of their districts. Items are based on current work practices and relationships among district administrators, and between the district office and schools in the following areas: Relationships and Networking; Differentiated Support; Instructional Design and Coaching; and Student-Focused Professional Learning.
